📜Review: Roadmap 2022 Q1đź§

In the first quarter, we’ve gone through varieties of events including arenas, updates, and many other things. Let’s take some time to look back at what changes we have gone through together.
[ Events & Contents]
- Arena
There is a lot to talk about in the arena. In the last quarter, two arena seasons were held, Seasons 2 and 3 still in progress. As we go through each arena season, more and more improvements are being added. We have received many feedbacks, especially on rewards and medals. Our team is trying our best to accompany opinions from our community as much as possible.
As a part of that, some new features have been added to the reward pack in Arena Season 3. Rewards and compensation ranges have been diversified from the past arenas. The Award pool has been increasing continuously. Also, in Season 3, an exclusive reward, a mage costume selected via the community voting, will be given out.
In June, Arena will go through a total overhaul. There will be Arena Season every month, and a quarterly arena will be held after every 3 monthly arenas. New arena features such as buffs and ticket trading will also be part of the update in June.
- Events

Are you being a good student? Not skipping daily rewards? With the launch of Arena Season 3, we vamped up the daily rewards 3 times bigger on Onboarding Portal, hoping this would help players better prepare for the season. Was this helpful? More players did check in to claim daily rewards indeed. Our team is working on more fun events for all of us to participate in, like the photo event on Twitter. Stay alert for more events!
[ Economy, Network, & Platform ]
As Nine Chronicles aims for a decentralized game where the users’ participation and input count as a huge factor in game development, our team puts a lot of thought into introducing a new feature into the game. Even though all events are designed to benefit most of the players of 9C, not everyone feels the same.
- Item Level Requirements & Farming UX Improvement
One of the most significant changes that happened within the first quarter would be the item level requirement. The requirement on each item would prevent users from abruptly jumping to a higher level with minimal effort. The level requirement was should’ve been realized from the genesis, however, was left behind for some reason.
When it was fully realized in early April, the market reacted with an increase in both supplies and demands for items. This update was necessary for Nine Chronicles to build an autonomous and sustainable ecosystem. Indeed, after the update, there were more items and trades in the market, which helps to sustain our market to work on its own.
Also, we can now check item drop locations from inventory, which makes it easier for crafting. You don’t have to go back and forth between crafting and the world map. Moreover, with the power of the sweep feature, players can farm items much faster. Of course, there has been criticism about not being able to allocate the desired amount of AP points during Sweep. Our team is aware of it and there will be improvements in the Sweep feature.
[ Community & Partnership ]
- Cool Partnerships
How did you like playing with new ears and tails? Aren’t they cute? It was a result of collaborating with Revomon. Our team is working on collaborating with “The Sandbox” and “Kollect” but they are being delayed a little bit, just stay put a little longer. At the same time, we are reaching out for more partnership opportunities. It’s always good to make new friends for greater synergy! If there is a project or IP that you would like Nine Chronicles to collaborate with, Let us know!
- Community Participation
Our community based on Discord and Twitter has grown much larger over time and will continue to do so. As we believe in the value of community, our team is always ready to hear our community’s voices.
During Arena Season 3, we are executing a survey on which costume would the players like to receive. There will be more surveys, beyond asking what rewards would players want, on the way. Many amazing members have joined Nine Chronicles team to support our community. Hopefully, we would be able to launch more projects to empower the voices of our community.
Did you have fun reading? We do hope that our efforts did serve our players well. As we have mentioned many times above, our team will do our best to make the game awesome. We appreciate your continuous support for Nine Chronicles and let’s play on!
